Heavy rain fell through the mid afternoon in a band from near Seguin in Guadalupe County westward to New Braunfels and across Comal County in to Kendall County as far west as Comfort. Average rainfall was between 1 and 2 inches, with isolated totals over 4 inches. The rainfall maximum was located just southwest of Seguin. Across the three counties, sheriff's departments reported widespread flash flooding of low county roads and low water crossings. Numerous cars were reported to have washed
