Rains of 1.5 to 3 inches fell in less than 12 hours, on saturated ground, during the early morning hours. The rains were associated with a warm front. Webster Springs had 2.9 inches of rain, Southside measured 2.3 inches, Clendenin reported 2 inches, while Bartow had 1.7 inches of rain . Minor flooding of small streams closed roads.
