Flash Flood — McLennan, TX

Thunderstorms developed during the afternoon and evening hours on Thursday, generally south of an outflow boundary which stretched roughly along Interstate 20. Several storms became severe, producing mostly large hail. Thunderstorms continued into the overnight hours producing locally heavy rain and some flash flooding in the Waco area. An 18 year old male was killed in Waco when his vehicle was swept away by flood waters.
