An upper level disturbance moved across the region in advance of an approaching cold front. This system helped to generate showers and storms across the region. One area of showers and storms produced up to two inches of rain on average in a short period of time in Princeton. Flash flooding ensued with four to six inches of water flowing over Stafford Drive.
