Heavy rainfall on the 9th and 10th produced widespread flooding across Kittson county. Quite a bit of overland flooding also took place, with a lot of water coming out of the Roseau River basin into portions of the county. The Lake Bronson dam was continually monitored, to keep the rate of inflow from overtaking the dam. The NDAWN mesonet site at Hallock reported 5.25 inches of rain during this 2 day period. Kittson county received a Presidential disaster declaration.
