The afternoon and evening of the 13th brought an active severe weather situation to West Texas. The primary severe weather mode was multicell storm structures with damaging winds. However, a few storms exhibited supercellular characteristics, and one tornado was documented in western Reeves County. Large hail to the size of golfballs was also reported.
