Heavy rains on the 18th and 19th caused flooding along the North, Middle and South Forks of the Holston River. The North Fork of the Holston at Saltville crested almost five and a half feet above flood stage, which is a record flood.There were many roads that were inundated by the flood waters, as well as property damage to many homes.
