Thunderstorms with very heavy rain caused small stream and poor drainage flooding in the northwest part of Middlesex County. Doppler Radar Storm total estimates were between 2 and 5 inches with the highest amounts in East Brunswick and Edison Townships. A SKYWARN Spotter in Sayreville Borough had a storm total of 4.01 inches. In New Brunswick, 1.92 inches of rain fell.
