Thunderstorms developed across portions of La Paz county during the late night hours on September 7th, with some of the strongest storms located to the north and east of Bouse. Due to the presence of a very moist atmosphere, the storms produced locally heavy rainfall with rain rates in excess of 2 inches per hour at times.
