A slow moving severe thunderstorm produced penny sized hail in Enfield and Manchester. The storm then dumped 3 to 4 inches of rain in Bloomfield, West Hartford, and Hartford in less than one hour. This resulted in flash flooding on Beamans Brook in Bloomfield, and significant urban flooding in West Hartford and Hartford.
