Localized flash flooding of roads and creeks occurred as a series of thunderstorms crossed parts of southeast Missouri. South of Poplar Bluff, water was over County Road 323. In Wayne County, a few state and county roads were closed due to high water, and a few county roads were washed out. In Ripley County, creeks overflowed across low water bridges.
