Flash Flood — Richland, WI

May 21, 2004

2 to 4 inches of rain in two hours caused flash flooding. Law enforcement officials and emergency managers reported several roads were either washed out or covered with water as much as 3 to 4 feet deep. Some roads were closed by mudslides, including Highway 82 near La Farge (Vernon County) and Highway 35 between Prairie du Chien and Lynxville (Crawford County).
