Heavy rain fell on already saturated ground resulting in numerous road closures and some washouts. By the morning of the 12th, as much as 9 inches of rain had fallen across parts of Tippecanoe and Clinton counties since the evening of the 10th. There were 37 evacuations in Lafayette and one at Edna Mills in Clinton county. 3 feet of water covered parts of State Road 26 near Edna Mills. There was also hundreds of thousands of dollars in basement damage mainly in Tippecanoe County.
