Thunderstorms produced rainfall amounts of 4 to 6 inches in two hours, which led to flash flooding. According to law enforcement officials, numerous roads were covered with water 6 to 12 inches deep. Especially hard hit were the Wadena and Arlington areas (Fayette County), where several road washouts were reported, along with damage to a few bridges. In addition, crops that had been replanted as a result of significant flooding in May were damaged by flood waters once again.
