A frontal boundary from northern Vermont southwest across eastern New York resulted in showers and thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall. Rainfall across Franklin county averaged between 1 and 2 inches with water on some roads and a few washouts reported with damage to culverts. Most of the damage seemed to be confined to the Berkshire and Richford areas.
