Waves of rain and embedded thunderstorms progressed through South Central Nebraska during this Tuesday, followed by additional thunderstorms in the late afternoon and early evening. The waves of rain and embedded storms began moving in during the predawn hours and lasted through the day. By late afternoon, the rain had largely ended. However, scattered thunderstorms then erupted east of Highway 281. The storms were most concentrated along Highway 30 from Grand Island northeast to Columbus. Some
