Flooding from heavy rains resulted in an estimated $300,000 in damage to 9 San Diego County parks. Sewage spills in San Marcos, Camp Pendleton, and Escondido cost millions to clean up and repair. Mudslides throughout the county resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage just to roads alone.
