Flash Flood — Morrow, OR

Apr 23, 2005

A flood control ditch was blocked in the city of Ione when a thunderstorm with heavy rain moved through the area. As a result water backed up in the streets of the downtown Ione area flooding several businesses. One business reported having at least 14 inches of water inside. No significant damage was noted at any of the businesses from the flash flood. The property damage from this event is estimated at $2,000.
