Thunderstorms ahead of an advancing cold front caused wind damage over much of Central Kentucky, mostly in the form of downed trees and power lines. There were also widespread reports of large hail, and a few more reports of non-severe hail in other locations. Flooding of low-lying areas, and streams flowing out of banks, also resulted from the thunderstorms.
