Heavy tropical rain showers produced between three to nearly six inches of rain across southeast Massachusetts during the early morning hours of 30 August 2005. These heavy showers caused flash flooding in Bristol and Plymouth counties.In Dartmouth, Hawthorn Street and Tucker Road were closed due to flooding.
