Excessive rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches in less than two hours caused localized flash flooding near Preston along Duschee Creek. Rain swollen streams were reported to have deposited large amounts of top soil in pastures alongside the creek. In addition, hail from the same storm was formed into hail glaciers by the force of the flood waters.
