Severe thunderstorms moved through portions of western, central, and interior eastern Massachusetts ahead of a cold front, which dropped southeast through New England.The storms initially produced wind damage in Monson where large trees, wires, and a telephone pole were brought down. Torrential rainfall with the storms partially washed out a road in Monson as well. As the storms progressed into Worcester County, trees and wires were brought down in Shrewsbury, Northborough, and Webster. Several
