Thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall moved over the southwest Iowa Counties if Cass, Taylor, and Union. Repeat thunderstorms produced quick rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches on top of ground that was quite saturated. Most of the rain ran off, filling streams and causing urban flooding problems.
