Significant rains on Tuesday evening April 23 resulted in flooding along the Walloomsac and Battenkill Rivers in Bennington County. The Walloomsac River crested 1.5 feet over flood stage at North Bennington and the Battenkill crested 1 foot over flood stage at Arlington. The flooding resulted in several road closures but much of the flooding was minor.
