Thunderstorms refired during the afternoon hours. The caused repeated flooding in areas where 2 to 3 inches of rain was common during the morning. Urban flooding became a problem as 1 to 1 1/2 inches of additional rainfall occurred in about an hour in Pocahontas, Sac, and Calhoun Counties.
