Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley were allowed to rise four feet above pool stage. Releases from the dams were curtailed in order to relieve flooding on the lower Ohio River. The unusually high lake stages inundated several shoreline facilities, such as boat ramp and parking areas. Several low-lying recreation spots were flooded.
