Excessive rains of 3.5 to 4.5 inches caused extensive flooding in the city of Holland and surrounding rural areas. Water covered the road on US-31 and 32nd St., as well as M-21 from east of Zeeland to near Hudsonville. A vehicle slid off the road into the Black River along Adams Street near 80th Avenue where rising waters covered the road.
