Flood — Harrison, MS

Heavy rainfall of 5 to 8 inches fell across southern Harrison County during the morning causing widespread flooding of streets. Some streets and roads were closed because of high water, and some cars were stalled in flood water. Drainage of runoff from the heavy rain was slowed by high tides along the coast. Minor flooding was reported to 15 houses at Keesler Air Force Base.
