A slow-moving thunderstorm dumped up to 2.5 inches of rain per hour along U.S. 60 from La Center to Kevil. Creek floodwaters were 2 feet deep in a machine shop in La Center, and a house was evacuated. A furniture store and tanning salon in Kevil were flooded. Two secondary roads were closed due to flooding.
