Major small stream flooding occurred after a second roundof thunderstorms, within 18 hours, dumped about 2 inches ofrain in an hour. A 24 year old woman drowned when her carwashed into Lower Creek, north of Milton. The woman got out of the car, but she was swept away. Her body was found about a mile downstream. Private bridges, farm equipment, 15 homes, and about 15 vehicles were damaged or destroyed. At least one mobile home floated off its foundation. A family of4 escaped their mobile hom
