Thunderstorms developed in northwest Arkansas during the late afternoon and early evening of May 10th. One of the storms became severe and produced dime size hail 5 miles northeast of Lee Creek. Very heavy rainfall from the thunderstorms resulted in flash flooding in Washington and Benton Counties. In Washington County, streams overflowed and some dirt roads were flooded in Cincinnati, and roads were flooded south of Farmington.
