Flash Flood — Lorain, OH

Heavy rain from remnants of Hurricane Fran caused widespread flooding of streets, basements, low lying areas and streams. Several roads were closed from flooding. Seven inches of rain was reported in Amherst with four to five inches reported in most other locations. Standing water remained for several days in some areas, including farmland which resulted in damage to crops.
