Occasional heavy rains over a 3-day period finally resulted in the Baraboo river overflowing it's banks 3 to 10 miles downstream of the city of Baraboo. Lowland farm land flooded and there were mudslides near the river. A cow died from the high waters, and 25,000 acres of farm land flooded.
