A couple rounds of heavy rains on top of saturated ground resulted in scattered flooding across Racine county. In the city of Racine, 1.5 inches fell between 1930CST and 2000CST on the 17th, while 1.97 inches fell overnight from the 16th to 17th. Many storm sewers became clogged with debris, and many roads then flooded. Flooding of resident basements and businesses was noted. Rural farm land sustained soil erosion and damage to crops.
