A brief thunderstorm caused local flooding of roads and a few buildings. Rainwater backed up into a junior high school, flooding six classrooms. Students were evacuated from the area around 2:30 P.M. CDT. In the city of Henderson, several vehicles were abandoned in flooded streets.
