Flash flooding destroyed a bridge. Eight mobile homes were evacuated. About a dozen vehicles were stalled. About 85 residents of a nursing home in Owensboro were evacuated as water crept inside. The flash flooding later contributed to rapid rises on Panther Creek, which flows through the south side of Owensboro. About a dozen homes along U.S. 431 flooded quickly.
