Highway 41A was closed between Providence and Madisonville. One woman was evacuated from the northwestern part of the county as backwater from the Tradewater River rose. A cooperative observer in Sebree measured 7.57 inches of rain in three days. A woman was forced to swim out of rising waters when her van was swept off Highway 138 in Slaughters.
