Eight to 9 inches of rainfall within a 3-day period caused extensive flooding of creeks and roads. Roads were closed at some point during the flooding to the north, south, and east of Princeton. U.S. 62 was closed near Princeton. Several Princeton businesses were flooded. Some houses were evacuated.
