The Mississippi River when above flood stage around the 9th of March and crested between the 21st and 26th. Considerable damage occurred on the Mississippi side of the river. The following is a summary of property damage for each county. Bolivar County - at total of 68 homes and mobile homes were damaged. Claiborne county a total of 5 homes and mobile homes were damaged.
