Flash Flood — Owen, KY

Estimated rainfall of 10 to 15 inches across the county in less than 36 hours caused many area creeks and streams to rise out of their banks. Numerous roads were flooded across the entire county. Two people were killed when their car was swept into flooded backwaters of the Kentucky River along State Route 355 near Perry Park.
