Heavy rainfall associated with the tornadic thunderstorms produced 2 inches of rain over Shoal Creek, with brief flash flooding. The body of a woman was later discovered in Shoal Creek. She apparently drowned during the heavy rain event, with her time of death estimated at 1600CST. Severe wind gusts to 56 knots were observed at Robert Mueller Airport in Austin.
