Brief flash flooding countywide resulted from rainfall of between 2 and 3 inches in 2 hours. Near 2230CST, a man and his wife were traveling back home after an evening's trip. The couple were nearing their home as they encountered a flooded creek close to Medina. As they attempted to cross through the creek, their car was washed off the road and they drowned.
