Flash Flood — Hays, TX

As a result of general 3 to 4 inch rainfall in less than 4 hours, and isolated totals near 5 inches, widespread flash flooding developed along the Blanco River across southern Blanco and Southern Hays Counties from Blanco to Wimberly. In all, over 40 homes in Hays County were flooded by the heavy rainfall and over 40 cars were washed away.
