A cold front moved slowly eastward over southeast Minnesota during the late evening hours of September 30th. Thunderstorms developed along and ahead of the front, producing rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches in about two hours. Law enforcement officials reported localized flash flooding across the northern part of Dodge County.
