Over an inch of rain fell in Gateway within an hour. Resultant flash floods damaged some irrigation projects and caused mud slides across highway 141. A diesel tractor-trailer rig jackknifed in a mud flow on the highway about a mile south of Gateway. West Creek rose over 10 feet, inundating a private bridge on the southeast side of Gateway.
