Heavy rainfall of five to seven inches caused localized flooding of roads and low lying areas from Ft Meade in Polk county south to Wauchula in Hardee county. Six mobile homes received nearly $155,000 dollars worth of structural damage from flood waters in De Soto county. Damage in Hardee and Polk counties was primarily vehicle flooding.
