A general three to four inches of rain fell on bare, saturated ground across the Genesee basin. The Genesee river crested at 36.4 feet at Avon ( highest since 1972) and at 16.8 feet in Rochester (highest since 1984). The Black Creek crested at Churchville at 9.2 feet (highest since 1960). At Garbutt, the Oatka Creek crested at 8.7 feet (a record flood).
