Early morning thunderstorms produced between six and eight inches of rain across central sections of St. Landry Parish. The hardest hit areas were along Highway 190, from Eunice to Lawtell, Opelousas, and Port Barre. Several homes and businesses had water enter them, and area roads had as much as two to three feet of water covering them.
