Flash Flood — Bath, KY

Jan 7, 1998

Heavy rain of up to 6 inches resulted in flash flooding in areas from Somerset to Flemingsburg. In many areas streams were out of their banks and numerous roads were flooded. In Pulaski County, near Bronston, a car was swept away by flood waters and several houses were surrounded by water. In Bath County, a 62 year old woman fell from a foot bridge, and was drowned in a flooded creek.
