Steady rains and some thunderstorms dumped 2 to 4 inches of rain over Sauk County on top of a saturated ground, resulting in scattered flooding reports. Highway 154 near Rock Springs was closed due to high water levels along Narrows Creek on April 1st. Other low-lying roads and farm fields along the Baraboo River experienced minor flooding. The Baraboo River at Baraboo crested at 19.57 feet at 1300CST on April 1st, or 3.57 feet above flood stage. It went below flood stage at 0945CST on the 4
